Building an intelligence platform for a once-in-a-generation event

Finland is undergoing one of Europe’s most significant gambling regulatory transitions. The country’s decades-old Veikkaus monopoly is being dismantled, and by July 2027, a new licensed market will open for international operators. Bonusetu.media was conceived as the definitive English-language resource on this transformation — and Mediainvesting built it from the ground up.
The site covers every dimension of the reform: the dual-license system separating B2C and B2B operators, the timeline for license applications, the 22% GGR tax structure, and the operational requirements that will define the new market. All content is based on primary legislative sources, including the HaVM 28/2025 vp Administration Committee report.

Editorial design meets digital strategy

This project required a fundamentally different approach from a typical affiliate or consumer site. Mediainvesting designed an editorial experience — serif typography, single-column layout, muted color palette — that positions the platform as a research publication.
The content architecture serves audiences such as journalists covering Nordic gambling regulation, and investors assessing the commercial opportunity. Each published page provides deep-dive analysis that these audiences can cite and reference in their own work.
